Crafting Engraved Stone Signs for St. Teresa of Avila’s Church & School
Over the years, Acsent has engraved a variety of stone signs for St. Teresa of Avila. Located on the West Side of Cincinnati in Price Hill, St Teresa has served its parish for over 75 years. One of our largest and most visible sign projects for St Teresa, is their limestone sign that sits out in front of their church.
ACSENT was hired by Zeiser Construction, now known as ZSR Contracting and Restoration, for a small sign project they were constructing for St. Teresa Parish.
ACSENT was asked to provide the limestone veneer material necessary to clad the sign structure, as well as the engraving. Our team prepared a quote and specifications for the work. After receiving the bid, our design team prepared shop drawings as shown below. Once approval was given, our production team fabricated the pieces and engraved the inscription on the limestone.
For this sign, Acsent provided custom limestone engraving on both of the sides of the sign, above its LED screens. Being a highly visible sign on the corner of Glenway and Overlook Ave, we engraved their name in a high-contrast dark lettering against the limestone. In addition to their main sign out front, we’ve also sandblasted and engraved other signs for the church and school.
We’re always thankful and honored to work with St Teresa of Avila parish, and the West Side of Cincinnati!
Below are a few photos showing some details and different angles of St Teresa’s outdoor church sign, as well as a school sign and the parish office sign, we’ve engraved for them in the past.
