Creating, Etching & Installing Elder’s Glass Coat of Arms
Recently, Cincinnati’s Elder High School asked us to create an etched glass version of their coat of arms, and install it in their entryway.
For this piece, we sandblasted Elder’s crest onto a large piece of glass. We utilized a dark purple glass background to showcase the detail and intricacy of the engraved artwork, and mounted the clear etched glass on top of it for added dimensionality. The piece was designed, etched and fully assembled at our shop, and then we installed the piece on location at Elder High School.
We always look forward to working with Elder High School. If you’re ever at their school, keep an eye out for this piece, as well as the stone paver we also etched and installed.
Below are a few photos showing the finished glass design, and the final installation of the artwork.
