Development of ACSENT – Our History and Vision

Creative Vision

The architect of the transition of the Napolitano family business from a retail monument shop to its modern manifestation is Emanuel “Nele” Napolitano. He is the grandson of Emmanuel, a sculptor working in Italy in the late 19th century, and the son of Peter, the artistic and creative force behind Napolitano Monuments in the early 20th century.

Transitional Direction

Emanuel established the glass division of the company in 1965 and combined it with the family’s stone business under the name 3-G Inc in 1973. Along with his wife, Nancy, he managed both businesses and was responsible for most of the company’s innovation. Together, they were an inspirational and highly successful leadership team for 3-G Inc.

In 1981, Emanuel purchased J. Kraig Monument, to expand the company’s market outreach. In the early 1990’s, the company expanded further with substantial growth in architectural and interior stone fabrication under the Stonecraft brand.

Future Goals

Today’s renaissance as the ACSENT brand is a natural progression in Emanuel’s vision of transforming the family business from a small monument shop to a cross-disciplined ornamental art studio.

ACSENT our History

3 Generations of Family Tradition in Stone and Glass Work

It goes without saying that people are any organization’s greatest asset. And as the old ad goes, “When your names on the door, you care a lot more.” The Napolitano family’s mission has always been to become the best we can be at what we do and to provide our customers with the highest quality work possible. That has been our family business’s creed and goal since we started in 1915.

Our family takes a great deal of pride in our history and our workmanship. Each member of our organization is highly trained in their area of expertise and has many years of working experience. No job or task is too small for our people and we seek to expand our knowledge and skills everyday. At ACSENT, we enjoy tackling new things and mastering new challenges. Our specialty is that unusual, one of a kind acsent, that nobody wants to work with.

Meet the Members of the ACSENT Family
